Vodafone Portugal just annouced that the pre-register for the new iPhone 3GS is now possible and I’ve jumped on it already! My dad doesn’t like the fact that the battery can only be replaced by Apple themselves but I’ve NEVER replaced any battery of all the cell phones I’ve had! Looking forward to this!
As for developing for it, I won’t be yet because you need a Mac to do that and since it’s a “tad” expensive to pay $1300 for a 13″ Macbook Pro just to develop for the iPhone, I’ll wait a bit.

Yes! Vodafone in Portugal is announcing that the new iPhone 3GS pre-reserve will be announced next month July! Can’t wait for it! I’ve already asked to be updated by phone and email!
